There is only 7km to Tvååker and 13km to Varberg, where you can find everything you would like, both cultural like the fort of Varberg and the many restaurants and nightlife of the city. Why don’t you visit the play land in Himle only 7km away from Björkäng, and when you are on it you can take the opportunity to take a detour through the old Träsklövläge with its fine old wooden church and fresh fish. Northwest of Varberg lies Getterön with one of the best bird premises with exhibition, shop and café with an amazing view over the surrounding area. If you want to go and shop you can take a trip to Ullared which is approximately 33km away and shop in the famous Ge-kås or other shops which has large selections of goods. It is not permitted to charge electric cars from the cabin.
