In Gothenburg's Northern Archipelago is Fotö, which is one of the smaller islands connected via a bridge to Hönö. To get here, you take a free car ferry from Lilla Varholmen on the mainland over to Hönö and further out to Fotö. The island has a cozy little marina with cafe in the summer and the absolute best bathing place with both jumping tower, sandy beach, rocks and lawn is here on the island. Here you can fish for crabs, see when the day's catch from the big fishing boats arrives or read a good book on the rocks and enjoy the tranquility. Because it is already on the ferry which takes about 15 minutes. The cottage is airy with a cozy loft, each with a single bed. If you want, you can easily put these together into a cozy double bed. A large bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
