The cottage is located right near the so-called Listerlandet, a peninsula that juts out between Blekinge and Skåne. In this area there is a lot to feel and experience. A perfect peninsula for those who like to stroll in village centers, walk along the beach, pause in the harbor and take a dip. There are several cozy coastal villages such as Hörvik, Nogersund and Hällevik with most nice cafes, restaurants and fish smokehouses. In this area you will also find several nice beaches. In the other direction is Mörrum with Laxens hus and fishing opportunities (fishing license) and in Karlshamn there is a wonderful place for the curious called Kreativum. If you want to go out in the archipelago, there are archipelago tours and fishing trips that start from several places. The nearest town is Sölvesborg. In Sölvesborg, nature is always close, regardless of whether you just want to be or get active. Here it is actually not far to anything that is nice. Most are located within a pleasant walking distance or a bike ride away. Here is the nature reserve Ryssberget, where one of Sweden's largest beech forests grows and here also Blekingeleden starts. Other nice summer towns to visit that are close are Ronneby and Kristianstad where you can shop, eat well and stroll around. The area is full of great excursion destinations!
