Boat and raft can be rented on site. On the raft there is a large table with four chairs and a smaller table. The raft is powered by an electric motor and the owner makes sure the battery is charged. The boat is also powered by an electric motor. The grill that is in the cabin can be taken with you if you want to grill on the raft, flame protection is available so that you don't burn ugly marks on the raft. After sluicing, you come out into the lake system "Bergslagskanalen" which takes you all the way up to Filipstad. The luice is located approx. 700 meters from the cottage. Alternatively, if you have your own boat, there is a loading ramp above the luice. During the summer months, there is a lot of activity at Knappforsen/Lunnedet in the form of music performances, camping, car meets and much else exciting. You can get here by a short 10-minute walk or 5 minutes by car. Plenty of hiking trails in the area.
