The nearby nature reserve has a fantastic nature with rolling dunes and sparkling sea. Within easy reach is Laholm, which has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here, the Lagan winds around the city and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. A short drive away you have Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and its small shops and restaurants. To the south, the settlement transitions to Skummeslövstrand with a summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. Just south of that, you reach Bjärehalvön with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. To the north, you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its wide range of entertainment and all the golf courses. The nearest golf course is Tönnersjö Gk.
