City trip to Ljubljana

Ljubljana is affectionately known as 'little Prague' or 'new Prague'. The city does indeed resemble the Czech capital. A definite 'must see' during a visit to Ljubljana is the Ljubljanski Grad also called the Castle of Ljubljana. The castle is almost as old as the city itself and is located on top of the hill. From the castle, you have a beautiful view over the city.
Outside Ljubljana, Iški Vintgar, a gorge with picturesque swimming pools, is also highly recommended for a visit. There are several castles to visit around Ljubljana.
