Johannes van den Bosch and his Society of Benevolence founded the fifth colony of benevolence in 1822, in the Belgian sub-municipality of Wortel. At that time, Wortel as a village was still part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands. Since the year 2021, it has been officially registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a cultural landscape.

The kitchen offers guests the opportunity to prepare a delicious meal before enjoying it together at the dining table. The residence is equipped with a spacious elegant living room, a reading corner and a TV. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a spacious parking lot, please do not park in the courtyard!
