The Rügen Sail starts here every year in May and opens the season with a trip around the island. The baroque park of Dranske, once part of a representative estate with a manor house, can be wonderfully explored on a walk. And of course the "Western Pomerania Lagoon Landscape" national park offers wonderful excursion destinations - whether on foot, by bike or by car.
