From there, cul-de-sacs lead down to the pebbly beach of Barbati - here you can escape the hustle and bustle and take a dip in the clear water. A very good spot for snorkelers. On a clear day you can see from the village across to Corfu town, the Venetian fortress and the harbour. On the opposite bank you can see Albania and the Greek mainland on the horizon. An ideal area for snorkeling and diving in the sea but also for hiking in the mountains. For your excursions on the island you can organize a rental car or take the public bus to Corfu (1st floor).
