Bij aankomst bleken de GPS coordinaten en adres verkeerd te zijn. Geen probleem, eigenaar bellen dus. Eigenaar geeft geen gehoor, niet op telefoon, whatsapp, sms en email. Na 2 uur gezocht te hebben en gespeurd door de papieren stopte een auto naast ons en vroeg waar we moeten zijn. Deze persoon bleek ook op hetzelfde terrein te wonen. Bij aankomst bleek het verblijf totaal niet overeen te komen met de advertentie. Op de airco na is alles oud en versleten. Daarnaast is het verblijf zeer vochtig. Dit komt omdat het midden in het bos ligt. Ook dit is niet duidelijk vemeld, de tekst 'ligt in een bosachtige omgeving' is nogal vaag omdat heel Toscane een bosachtige omgeving is. De weg erna toe is zeer slecht dus kom niet met een te lage auto want die is kans groot dat je schade oploopt. Gesprekken met de eigenaar die uiteindelijk toch kwam opdagen bleken vruchteloos. Alles werd beantwoord met schouderophalen, 'kan ik niks aan doen' en 'staat niet in het contract dus hoef ik niet te doen'. Nutteloos persoon dus. Maar goed, de omgeving en uitzicht zijn wel heel mooi dus dat zorgde ervoor dat het niet een compleet fiasco werd.

Dear guest, thank you for your comment, I wanted to inform you that when you called, I was in the shower, time to finish it and I immediately called back, not receiving an answer from you, I sent my father, to come and look for you as the GPS often sends in other directions. Once found you were kindly escorted to the house. The house is renovated every year, it was August 2nd and it is unlikely to find any form of humidity in Tuscany at that time. We are adjacent to the wood in which there is a beautiful fresh water spring with a stream but in that period it is often dry precisely because of the drought. The road to access is fixed regularly, it is a "white" road. We are located in the middle of a beautiful olive grove on the crest of a hill. Regarding the dimensions of the house (40m2), they are mentioned in the description. I am sorry if your request for a full refund, because you did not feel at ease on the estate where you can freely admire the fallow deer and fawns trying to preserve nature and its surrounding fauna as much as possible, has not been accepted, at least for a non-existent humidity and the size of the house. Ours is a structure where those who come appreciate being in the open and clean air, silence and privacy. Best regards, Denise Cini
