Holiday park Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos enjoys natural surroundings, just 11 kilometers by bike from the lively centre of Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The Amsterdamse Bos, from which the resort takes its name, is a forest which covers 935 hectares and has no fewer than 116 bridges, often with a special design. This is a great area for recreation. Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos enjoys a beautiful location on the southern edge of the Amsterdamse Bos.
At Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos, you will find a mix of camping pitches (something unique so close to Amsterdam) and holiday homes. The resort is hidden between tall trees and water. Don't be surprised if you meet a Scottish Highlander; a special experience. At the holiday park, you will find a grocery shop, bicycle rental and a playground for children.
There is more than enough to do in the area. Lovers of art, culture, shopping, restaurants, and outdoor cafes can enjoy one of the many charming towns nearby. We will mention Amsterdam (22 km), Haarlem (21 km) and Alkmaar (45 km), each with its own atmosphere. A visit to Artis (20 km), the Zaanse Schans (29 km) or the traditional Dutch fishing village of Volendam (42 km) is definitely worth it. If you want to visit the North Sea coast, the famous seaside resorts of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal are approximately 27 km away. All the mentioned cities and sights are easily accessible by public transport. The Amsterdamse Bos itself is a nice place for nature lovers. There are also various walking and cycling paths in the area, guiding you through polders or forests.

This nice safari tent lodge is located in the green holiday park Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos, on the southern edge of the Amsterdamse Bos. In the middle of nature and yet only half an hour away from the bustling centre of the capital Amsterdam.
In the safari tent, you can experience the feeling of luxurious camping, so-called glamping; the atmosphere of a tent but with just a little more comfort. In the living room, you will find a TV and a nice sitting and dining area. The open plan kitchen includes a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. There are two bedrooms, each with two single beds, which may or may not be set up as a double bed. In the bathroom, you will find a shower and toilet
Outside you have a veranda with garden furniture. There is parking for one car near the safari tent.
At Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos, various chalets and safari tents can be booked for two to seven people.
It's unfortunately too cold and my daughter has a temperature. I called the emergency number repeatedely and absolutely none of my trials I got a response.
