Gizycko is the water sports center: there are many moorings, pubs, boatyards, sail makers and a water filling station. For sailors and motor boats, the port is the station for the passage of the Luczanski Canal, which runs right through the city here. In addition, the White Fleet has its base in Gizycko. Also worth seeing for landlubbers is the swing bridge over the connecting canal between the Mauersee and Spirdingsee. In Europe there are only two bridges of this type that are still in operation.
