The interior is largely barren, but there are quite a few interesting excursion destinations that you can easily reach with a rental car. There is Casa Mane in La Oliva, about 36 kilometers away, and a cultural center has now been built in the restored country house. The dunes of Corralejo can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. Our special tip: book a travel on the glass bottom ship to the island of Los Lobos in Corralejo.A ferry crossing to the neighboring island of Lanzarote is also exciting.
