The bus runs every 15 minutes in the direction of Alcúdia, Puerto de Pollença or other directions such as Palma. In Puerto de Alcúdia there are all kinds of restaurants, leisure activities and shops. The nearest large supermarket is on the road from the village of Alcúdia to Can Picafort, near a petrol station about 300m from the house. The old town of Alcúdia, with its cobbled streets, is worth a visit; its squares, the church and the walls surrounding the town. Tuesdays and Sundays are market days in Alcúdia and the town is transformed into a bustling and lively place. Don't forget to visit the Roman ruins, highly recommended. By car or bus you can easily reach other areas such as Playa de Muro, Ca'n Picafort, Playa de Formentor or Puerto de Pollença. Cala de San Vicente is also worth a visit. The village of Pollença and its small church on the top of the hill (Calvari) can be a good option for a half-day excursion.
