This relatively small winter sports area with reasonable prices consists of the villages Achenkirch, Maurach am Achensee and Pertisau am Achensee, which are located around the lake. This ski area offers 55 km of runs in total. Everyone - beginner or experienced - will find the piste that suits them. Enjoy the hospitality of the villages around the lake.

The region is also great for langlauf fans with its 163 km of langlauf tracks. They all are double-tracked and awarded with the 'Tiroler Gütesiegel', the Michelin-star for langlauf tracks. Tour skiers can make a great descent from the Rofanspitze over a deep snow route. At the Christlum lift there is a snowboard area with a half-pipe, pro-jump and various jumps. Great for the fans.

Make beautiful walks from your cottage in Achensee

Walkers will enjoy the lovely path along the Achensee, which leads from Maurach to Pertisau. The walking paths take you through the beautiful nature with many attractions. You can also take a hike through the narrow Untertauertal, if you prefer woods. And experienced hikers can climb the Gföllall on foot. Achensee has beautiful surroundings where you can enjoy nature whilst walking.
