Winter paradise Ski Gastein and Schlossalm ski resort
From Bad Hofgastein you can ski the entire skiing area of Ski Gastein (Gasteinertal), which is made up of four ski resorts and no fewer than 200 km of slopes. The closest ski resort to Bad Hofgastein is Schlossalm. The ski resort of Angertal connects Schlossalm (Bad Hofgastein) with Stubnerkogel (Bad Gastein), together forming the ski area of Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel-Angertal (860 - 2300 m), the largest connected area in the Ski Gastein valley, with a wide variety of slopes and modern lifts. In Stubnerkogel you will find the Freestyle Funpark Gastein, a children’s fun centre, the Bad Gastein toboggan run and the highest suspension bridge in Europe, at an impressive height of 2300 m!
