Fun winter sports for the whole family in Ötz-Hochötz

Ötz-Hochötz is a small pleasant ski area, known as the most family-friendly area of the Ötztal. The last few years, the area has developed into a fully fledged ski area with 11 lifts in total. With its mainly blue and red pistes, the area is ideal for beginners and average skiers. Experienced skiers will find more than enough challenges nearby. For snowboarders there is a small fun park.

Ötz is a quiet place in a busy area. There are typical Tyrolean houses in the village and it is very cosy. Hochötz offers you, just outside the centre, the lift of the Acherkogel Bahn which brings you to an altitude of 2020 m. Besides all the winter sports facilities there are also many walking paths in the region. From your holiday home in the Ötztal you will enjoy the pretty region.

Excursions for the experienced winter sports enthusiast

You can go to the other ski areas in the Ötztal by car or ski bus, like Ötztal-Arena, Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. In total they offer you another 300 km very diversified pistes up to an altitude of 3250 m. These areas are truly challenging for the experienced, with a large array of exciting red and black pistes.

Other winter sports in Ötz-Hochötz

Langlaufers will find 2 loipes of 13 km in total near Ötz. There is also a bus to Kuhtal where there are 15 more kilometres of loipes. In addition, you will find gorgeous walking paths in this region near and around the Piburg lake. Enjoy the varied range of pistes for the whole family!
