The unique thing about this resort is that you have a magnificent view over the city of Grenoble from the ski runs. Chamrousse is best known for its Olympic Games of 1968 however. Chamrousse has two modern ski stations, called Chamrousse 1650 and Chamrousse 1750. These stations are better known as Recion (1,650 m) and Roche Béranger (1,750 m). These ski stations are easy to reach and well connected with a good network of bus connections, ski lifts and ski runs.
