Book your holiday home in Val Cenis, in the prettiest Alps

In Savoie, near the Italian border, at the end of the Maurienne valley, you will find the two atmospheric villages Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard, which together form the skiing area Val Cenis. You will find leisure facilities like bars, restaurants, shops and other activities in the villages. Lanslebourg is a long street with mostly conveniences and shops while Lanslevillard has a slightly older village centre. In the latter village you will also find a public sauna, solarium and an indoor public swimming pool. The stair lifts and cable cars give you easy access to the skiing area. The villages are at approximately 2 km from each other and you can book various chalets and cottages in their immediate proximity with us. The ski resort is suitable for young and old, and there are various nursery and ski facilities even for the smallest guests.

Winter sports and fun, Val Cenis is the place to be

The villages Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard have a long and rich history. The road to Italy which is still used was installed in 218 AD by Hannibal. He used it to cross the mountains with his elephants. Nearby you will find the fabulous the Vanoise National Park and the Avigliana regional park, just across the Italian border. True nature lovers will feel at home here too, definitely if you book a holiday home in Val Cenis. You can ideally combine a lovely winter sports holiday with a visit to one of these magnificent parks.

Ski fun for beginners and experienced skiers

The Col de Mont Cenis is located on the border of the French and Italian Alps. The highest point is the L?Ouillin de la Tomba (2,800m altitude). The sunny, snow guaranteed skiing area of Val Cenis offers 80 km pistes and reaches altitudes of more than 2,000m for the most part. Beginners will be fine here too, the easy descents are perfect. L?Escargot is a good example: this is the longest green piste in Europe (approx. 8 km) and a great descent for novice skiers. There is a good range of black pistes and off-piste opportunities for the advanced skiers. You will also have numerous after-ski opportunities at sports and cultural levels. And then you return to the warmth of your holiday home.
