Get to know the many possibilities offered by the Blatten-Belalp ski resort. Blatten-Belalp is situated in Valais in Switzerland and has more than 60 kilometres of ski slopes. From the 3112-metre-high summit of this ski resort you have a fabulous view of the Aletsch Glacier, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. A selection of blue, red and black pistes makes Blatten-Belalp a ski resort with something for everyone.

Discover the many aspects of Blatten-Belalp

Although this region has gained in popularity in recent years, Blatten-Belalp has succeeded in preserving its typically Swiss character and ambience. That and the fact that there is a very high certainty of snow at this ski resort makes Blatten-Belalp a favoured winter sports destination, not only for tourists but also for people from the region. It is the high-altitude location that makes the Blatten-Belalp ski resort so special. During a descent from Hohstock to Belalp you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Aletsch Glacier and the imposing Valais Alps. Skiing in Blatten-Belalp can be recommended both for beginners and experienced skiers. It offers broad blue pistes for beginners, but also a number of challenging, steep black pistes for the experienced skier.

A skiing holiday for the whole family

Blatten-Belalp is particularly suited as a winter sports resort for families with children. Although in the evenings you can enjoy a wonderful dinner or a relaxing drink at one of the traditional-style bars, at this resort you will not be bothered by too many après-ski parties and discos. During a skiing holiday in Blatten-Belalp you will also get to know the real Switzerland. Blatten-Belalp has a number of good skiing schools and fairly quiet pistes, so that children have plenty of space here to practise. Snowboarders are also not forgotten at the Blatten-Belalp ski resort – with a halfpipe, fun park and boarder cross they can snowboard to their heart’s content. There is also plenty to do if you spend a non-skiing day in Blatten-Belalp. Among other things, there is a sauna, a sunbed and an indoor swimming pool; regular torch-lit tours are organised and there is also a seven-kilometre-long toboggan run.
