Grindelwald (altitude of 1000 m) is a mountain village in the Jungfrau Region. Gondolas and cog railways take you to the skiing area, with 60 km of prepared slopes, 40 km of hiking trails and more than 15 of cross-country tracks for all levels.  Kids ages 6 months and up can spend the day at the Snowli Kids Club Sunshine in Männlichen or the Snowli Kids Club (ages 3 and up) at the Bodmi in Grindelwald. You can also take part in the torch-lit descent to Grindelwald. Here you will also find the longest toboggan slope in Europe (15 km), which takes you from Faulhorn to Bussalp/Grindelwald and is an experience to remember! Being a smaller area, it is known for its cosy charm and affordable prices. A holiday here also allows you to ski in beautiful surroundings, with fantastic long and wide descents, breathtaking views and friendly locals! Grindelwald is 25 minutes from First, where you can enjoy lovely panoramic views.
