This modernly furnished chalet for a maximum of 6 people is located in Kötschach-Mauthen in Carinthia, not far from the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg family ski area and the lively town center.
The chalet is very complete and modernly furnished and offers a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a dining table and patio doors directly to the garden as well as a modern, open, fully equipped kitchen. On the upper floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 balcony. The attic, which you reach via stairs, offers additional space for 2 people. You can park directly under the carport at the chalet.
Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the upper end of the Carinthian Gailtal, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourist region and offers a small family ski area with 6 kilometers of slopes as well as restaurants, shops, all hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (Aquarena water and wellness oasis). The well-known Sun Skiworld Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes and 30 lifts is approx. 25 km away (accessible with the free ski bus).
Kötschach-Mauthen is an ideal destination for both a sun and snow holiday. For the active, sporty holidaymaker, but also ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, and is known for its magnificent nature and healthy air. In summer the options are truly endless, with canoeing, rafting, mountain biking, hiking and cycling. The Waldbad Mauthen natural swimming pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer lots of swimming fun in summer!
There are plenty of shops for your daily needs right in town as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Das Chalet war für uns 4 Personen exakt das perfekte. Wir hatten nicht nur ausreichend getrennte Schlafzimmer, sondern auch getrennte Bäder. Die Ausstattung war insgesamt sehr hochwertig, vom Holzofen, über Weber Elektrogrill, Küche mit Komplettausstattung und Waschmaschine/Trockner. Hier war alles vorhanden. Den TV mit SAT. Und Bose Sound zum Laufen zu bringen, sowie die Fehlersuche bei nicht funktionierendem WLan war nicht so einfach.., Die Hausmappe war essentiell nur in niederländisch vorhanden, der Hausmeister mit diesem Problem überfordert. Der Technik Freak in unserer Gruppe hat mit Router Reset u.ä. zwar alles zum Laufen gebracht, aber das könnte etwas verbessert werden. Wir waren mega zufrieden, kommen sicherlich wieder, denn für eine Motorrad Gruppe ist Kötschach-Mauthen das perfekte Basecamp. Wir sind unzählige Pässe und Höhenstraße gefahren und waren in Slowenien und Italien, auch am Pressegger See. Oberhalb unseres Chalet war auch eine große Schwimmtanlage, mitFrei-und Hallenbad und guter Gastronomie. Insgesamt haben wir im Ort nur super lecker gegessen. Fünf Sterne für Ort und Unterkunft ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️
