De ligging van het huisje is perfect als je de rust wil opzoeken. Wij zijn met 2 personen en 2 honden gegaan en voor de honden is de ligging ook perfect, als je de poort van het huisje uitloopt sta je direct in het bos. Er valt veel te wandelen in de omgeving en op de twee zeer kleine nabijgelegen dorpen na is er alleen maar natuur te vinden. Er ligt een supermarkt op ongeveer 15 minuten rijden van het huisje. Vanaf het balkon is er prachtig uitzicht op een dal met daarin een van de twee nabijgelegen dorpen. Onder het balkon bevindt zich een uitstekende buitendouche voor de liefhebber. De weg naar het huisje toe is weliswaar onverhard maar ondanks dat wij met een kleine auto kwamen was deze alsnog goed begaanbaar. Het enige nadeel is dat de trap zeer slecht te beklimmen is voor de honden. De treden zijn smal en glad en de ruimte tussen de treden is open. Als het je niet lukt je hond een trap op en af te tillen is het lastig van de bovenverdieping gebruik te maken. De BBQ en twee van de vier bedden zijn op de bovenverdieping waardoor het nog jammerder is dat deze niet goed door honden begaanbaar is. Over het algemeen is het huisje zeker een aanrader, wij hebben ons er prima een week vermaakt. Maar als ik de eigenaar één tip zou kunnen geven is het dus om een nieuwe trap te laten installeren.

The location of the house is perfect if you want to find peace. We went with 2 people and 2 dogs and the location is also perfect for the dogs, if you walk out of the gate of the house you are directly in the forest. There is much to walk in the area and apart from the two very small nearby villages, there is only nature to be found. There is a supermarket about 15 minutes drive from the cottage. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of a valley containing one of the two nearby villages. Under the balcony is an excellent outdoor shower for the enthusiast. The road to the house is unpaved, but despite the fact that we came with a small car, it was still passable. The only drawback is that the stairs are very difficult to climb for the dogs. The steps are narrow and smooth and the space between the steps is open. If you are unable to lift your dog up and down stairs, it is difficult to use the upper floor. The BBQ and two of the four beds are upstairs, making it even more unfortunate that it is not well accessible for dogs. In general, the house is definitely recommended, we had a great time there for a week. But if I could give the owner one tip, it would be to have a new staircase installed.
