Just a few kilometers from Vieregge lies the Schaabe, a twelve-kilometer-long spit of land whose fine sand makes it one of Rügen's most beautiful beaches. Opposite Vieregge is the island of Hiddensee, which can be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The island's famous sights, such as the chalk cliffs, Granitz Hunting Lodge, and the white town of Putbus, can be reached by car in less than 45 minutes.

Das Haus erfüllt seinen Zweck um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu haben. Es ist gemütlich, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, und es bietet Schlafplätze für 6 Personen. Es gibt draußen eine Möglichkeit um zu grillen. Der Ort ist sehr ruhig, in zwei Minuten ist man am Hafen. Für Naturliebhaber optimal um runterzufahren. Außer Ameisen im Haus gibt es nichts zu meckern.
