Altenau is located in the middle of the Upper Harz Mountains, around ten kilometers from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and 15 kilometers from Goslar. To the east, twelve kilometers away, is the summit of the Brocken. Heerlijke koel huisje. Fijne woonkamer en keuken met uitzicht op heuvels en woningen. Af en toe komt er een eekhoorntje langs die soms zelfs naar binnen gluurt of er nog iets te halen valt. Badkamer is prima. Bedden zouden iets beter kunnen. De omgeving is prachtig, heel veel te zien en te beleven. Bakker zit heel dichtbij dus elke ochtend heerlijke verse broodjes kunnen halen.

Lovely cool house. Nice living room and kitchen with a view of hills and houses. Occasionally a squirrel comes by and sometimes even peeks in to see if there is anything to get. Bathroom is fine. Beds could be a little better. The area is beautiful, lots to see and experience. Bakker is very close so every morning you can get delicious fresh bread.
