The idyllic Bodetal, the cities of Quedlinburg and Wernigerode or the Hexentanzplatz in Thale can be reached quickly. Further excursion destinations are: the narrow-gauge railway to the Brocken, the stalactite caves of Rübeland, the zoo of Aschersleben or the unique rock formation of the Gegensteine in the immediate vicinity.
