The municipality of Klocksin, located south of Lake Malchin, lies largely within the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The fascinating baroque Blücherhof Palace, with its unique dendrological park, is ideal for long walks. Numerous bird and butterfly species can also be observed here.

Ulrichshusen Castle, on the southern shore of the lake of the same name and one of Mecklenburg's most important Renaissance buildings, is also worth a visit.
