Ideal for families or groups, it offers plenty of room to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. In the summer, unwind at the barbecue area by the stream; in winter, cozy up by the fireplace after outdoor adventures. Lonau features a range of activities for all ages, including a mini golf course, a large playground, a capercaillie enclosure, a forest swimming pool, and a water treading pool. The nearby Guelph Castle, perched above the village, is a must-see. Popular excursions include the UNESCO World Heritage City of Goslar and the historic Samsonhütte in Sankt Andreasberg.
