Located close to a lake and the city centre, you will find opportunities to both enjoy solitude and be a part of the local hustle and bustle. Only a half an hour’s drive away, you will find the High Venn and Eifel National Parks. The area is perfect for hiking and cycling, as is the entire Eifel region. During winters, the ‘Schwarzer Mann’ offers cross-country and downhill skiing as well as sleighing. Other attractions in the area include Auw-Stausee Lake at 2 km, the Eifel Zoo at 22 km, and the Eagle and Wolf Park in Kasselburg at 36 km. From here, do take a nice day trip to Luxembourg, where you can visit Echternach and Müllerthal, also known as Little Switzerland. The large kitchen is fully-equipped for trying out every recipe from your family cookbook.
