The energy-efficient log cabin with solar-powered systems breathes a genuine and unique holiday atmosphere, between Winterberg and Willingen! It is a "low-energy house" and needs relatively little energy to be heated. The house has central heating, which is fuelled by solar energy and when the sun is not shining by wood. Guests fire the wood-burning stove themselves with the wood provided free of charge. There is a backup power supply. The solar panels on the roof generate electricity and there is a backup by connecting to the electricity grid. Water comes from the mains water supply, but is used again for flushing the toilet. The house is equipped with A and A+ appliances and LED lighting. It was built with environmentally friendly wood and ecological building materials were chosen where possible.
Your accommodation has a sauna, a large HD LED flat screen TV, CD and DVD player, washing machine, carport for 2 cars, ski and bicycle storage, free Wi-Fi, terrace, playground with trampoline. The house is situated on a very large plot and offers you a real and free holiday feeling. Thousands of trees and shrubs, including many fruit trees and berry bushes, have recently been planted in the grounds on which the house stands. Many vegetables, herbs and berries will also be grown organically. A piece of land will also be kept free as an open meadow. In the future, a meadow surrounded by forest will be created. Functional and recreational purposes have been well combined here. The holiday home is located in the middle of the "Medebacher Bucht" nature reserve in the Orketal valley.
