A well-stocked supermarket, bakery, cafes, restaurants, shopping opportunities, bowling, mini golf, and a water park are all within walking distance. Bring your bikes or rent some and enjoy the beautiful nature on the hiking and cycling trail between Søndervig and Hvide Sande. An 18-hole golf course and fishing lakes are a 5-minute drive from Søndervig.

The beautiful fishing village of Hvide Sande and the market town of Ringkøbing are less than a quarter of an hour's drive away. Both towns offer good shopping, seafood restaurants, and specialty shops. At Ringkøbing Fjord, you can try water sports such as surfing, cable skiing, and stand-up paddleboarding. You can also visit Lyngvig Lighthouse, Fiskeriets Hus (the House of Fishing), Abelines Gård, Ringkøbing Museum, Naturkraft, WOW activity park, and Stauning Whisky.
