We werden heel hartelijk welkom geheten door de eigenaars. Er stonden zelfs een heerlijke fles wijn en koekjes voor ons klaar. Het is een fantastisch huis met volledig omheinde tuin, (honden of kleine kinderen kunnen echt niet de straat op lopen) in een heel rustige omgeving. In Payzac is er een bakker, een slager en in La Chapelle is er een Utille met een beperkt aanbod aan verse en droge voeding. Een grotere winkel Intermarche is er bv in Pompadour. De 1,5 km naar bakker of winkel fietsen is zelfs voor minder geoefende elektrisch fietsers goed te doen. Wij hebben echt genoten van de rust , de stilte, het uitzicht over de velden, de vele vogels. Dank jullie wel voor jullie warme ontvangst!

We were very warmly welcomed by the owners. There were even a delicious bottle of wine and cookies waiting for us. It is a fantastic house with a fully enclosed garden (dogs or small children really cannot walk into the street) in a very quiet area. In Payzac there is a bakery, a butcher and in La Chapelle there is a Utille with a limited range of fresh and dry food. There is a larger Intermarche store in Pompadour, for example. Cycling the 1.5 km to the bakery or shop is easy even for less experienced electric cyclists. We really enjoyed the peace, the silence, the view over the fields, the many birds.
