You'll find an indoor playground, and an indoor and outdoor pool at De Krim, for example. Guests staying at Villapark De Koog receive free entrance tickets for this swimming pool. And they receive a 30% discount on the green fee for the local golf course.

There are plenty more things to do nearby. The little ones will love the Sommeltjespad, a themed nature walk. Ecomare is also worth a visit. It has a natural museum and you can watch the seals being fed. The Juttersmuseum houses an interesting collection of things found by beachcombers during the past 75 years. Seaside resort De Koog hosts a wide range of shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes. There are many festivals throughout the year. Horseback riding enthusiasts can choose from several different riding schools. If you have sufficient experience, you can join a beach ride. There are plenty of beaches here of course, and those looking for peace, quiet and nature will also be able to find some nice spots. Villapark De Koog is situated just outside De Nederlanden. This unique nature reserve is part of the Texel Dunes National Park. It is characterised by its beautiful, steep dunes. The area is grazed by Galloway cattle and sheep. Don't forget to visit De Slufter, a very special natural area with an open connection to the North Sea. Much-loved by many bird species. Especially in spring, the area becomes a top destination for bird-watchers. With 140 km of cycling lanes, Texel is the perfect place to go cycling. And a nice outdoor cafe for a break is never too far away.
