Description

The flat is located a few metres from the Chiantigiana road, 2 km from the centre of Greve in the heart of Chianti, only 15 km from Florence and about 35 km from Siena. It overlooks a small private garden looking out over the hills through a large window. On the ground floor, the large living room with fireplace includes a well-equipped kitchen and a small utility room. There is also an oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven TV and air conditioning in every room. Also on the ground floor a bedroom with private terrace and bathroom with bath/shower. On the first floor a large double bedroom with bathroom/shower. Both rooms can also be prepared with separate beds and the sofa in the living room can be a comfortable bed for two persons. The owners are available to organise transfers, private guided or chauffeur-driven excursions, cycling tours and cooking classes.

Heerlijk adres. Schoon en ruim. Goede bedden en douches, prima werkende airconditioning in alle kamers. Zwembad ook uitstekend. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan bijvoorbeeld Florence en Siena. Bushalte bijna voor de deur (let op: bustickets kopen bij de pizzeria tegenover het busstation in Greve). Onze restaurant-tip: Ristoro di Lamole. Geweldig! Tijdens ons verblijf was er nog een flinke tak van een (dode) boom gevallen bij het zwembad. Kwam keurig iemand voor langs; nog dezelfde ochtend was de boom verwijderd. Let op: het adres dat in de routeplanner van Belvilla wordt opgegeven is nr. 84. Moet zijn 86. Maar wanneer je nr. 86 invoert in Google Maps, wordt verwezen naar een locatie aan de overzijde van de straat. De juiste locatie is (komend vanuit het noorden) links de halfverharde weg in direct voor het ENI-tankstation aan de linkerzijde van de weg. Het kostte ons even zoeken. Verder bleek de lokale contactpersoon volgens de opgegeven telefoonnummers niet telefonisch bereikbaar (kloppen deze nummers wel?).
