Montescudaio is perfect for a relaxing holiday immersed in green landscapes. You can explore the beaches at 12 km and walk through the pine forests nearby. For the nearest supermarket, you need to go 2 km. The nearby towns of Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano are worth a visit. A natural unattended beach between Bau Beach and Marina the Cecina is every traveler's favorite.

The holiday home has an independent entrance and a parking spot. It boasts of a terrace with parasol and garden furniture, which offers an enchanting view over the sea and the unforgettable sunsets. Ankunft: Beschilderung vor Ort folgen, z.B. Google Maps kennt den kurzen holprigen Schotterweg zur Unterkunft nicht. Die Vermieterin kam uns schon entgegen und hat uns eine ausführliche Tour durch die Wohnung gegeben. Unterkunft: groß und etwas verwinkelt mit vielen Sofas. Terrasse mit unglaublicher Aussicht auf die Hügel, Montescudaio und auch etwas Meer. Tagsüber heizt sich das Schlafzimmer auf und die Klimaanlage ist im Wohnzimmer, die Temperatur zum Schlafen ist aber noch angenehm. Gute Ausstattung: elektrischer Grill, Ofen, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Gasherd mit Ceran-Platte. Umgebung: Auto nötig für jegliche Unternehmungen. Montescudaio ist sehenswert, Lebensmittel einkaufen kann man hier aber nur begrenzt. In Cecina (~10-15 Min. Fahrt) gibt es aber alles Nötige. Unser Lieblingsstrand war ein naturbelassener unbeaufsichtigter Strand (~25 Min. Fahrt; kostenloses Parken - Sonntags aber kaum Parkplätze frei) zwischen Bau Beach und Marina die Cecina. Innerhalb von ~1h Fahrt sind viele Ausflugsziele zu erreichen. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!

Arrival: follow signs on the spot, e.g. Google Maps does not know the short bumpy gravel road to the property. The landlady came to meet us and has given us a detailed tour of the apartment. Accommodation: large and a bit winding with many sofas. Terrace with incredible views of the hills, Montescudaio and also some sea. During the day the bedroom heats up and the air conditioning is in the living room, but the temperature to sleep is still pleasant. Good equipment: electric grill, oven, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove with ceramic plate. Environment: car necessary for any activities. Montescudaio is worth seeing, but you can only buy food here. In Cecina (~ 10-15 minutes drive) there is everything you need. Our favorite beach was a natural unattended beach (~ 25 min drive, free parking - Sundays but barely free parking) between Bau Beach and Marina the Cecina. Within ~ 1 hour drive many destinations are to erreichen.Insgesamt a clear recommendation!
