Description

Madvighuset is a charming summer house – and at the same time Svaneke's oldest house. The historic house exudes soul, atmosphere and genuine Bornholm town atmosphere. As is typical in a home with so many years behind it, there may be crooked angles, uneven details and solutions that do not always follow modern, streamlined standards. In the off-season, there may also be a slight draft in some places, for example near the windows. All of this is a natural part of the house's age and charm and contributes to the authentic experience of living in the middle of Svaneke's old town environment.

The Madvighuset is furnished as follows: Entrance hall with access to a large living room and dining room. From here there is access to a staircase that serves as an entrance to the kitchen and bathroom and the 1st floor. The living room is lovely and bright with a dining area, sofa arrangement and TV.

There is a well-equipped country-style kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a small dining area. From here you also have access to an extra small room with storage space and washing machine. The bathroom is simply furnished with a shower and underfloor heating. On the first floor you will find two bright bedrooms with double beds and a living room with a sofa bed.

From the living room there is access to a cozy enclosed terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

Svaneke Square

Svaneke Torv is only 100 meters from Madvighuset. Look forward to the cozy market days. The atmosphere is lively, and there are plenty of good deals to be had from the local market vendors.

Are you tempted by a cold beer at Svaneke Bryghus, or will you move on to the next temptations? Svaneke is full of delights. Handmade ice cream, hard candy, licorice and gummies – and it’s not just your taste buds that will be happy. Your eyes will also love the beautiful designer shops with clothes, glass art and antique dealers.

With a smile on your face, you continue to Svaneke Harbour. Here you can get fresh fish from the local fishing boats or maybe just enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. Soon a lovely aroma will welcome you. Svaneke Smokehouse invites you in with a wealth of tasty smoked products. Take a walk along the beautiful coastal path in Svaneke. Sit down on the warm rocks. Feel the holiday spirit.

Dejlig sommerhus og god beliggenhed Anbefalinger: Svaneke og huset er skÃ¸nt Det fungerer dÃ¥rligt med rengÃ¸ring og der bÃ¸r vÃ¦re et fast belÃ¸b for alle sÃ¥ det ikke varierer. Der er ingen tvivl om at sommerhuset var i bedre stand efter vores rengÃ¸ring og dette pÃ¥ trods af at der ikke var redskaber og rengÃ¸ringsmidler. Ingen information, men mine forÃ¦ldre var forberedt og havde selv medbragt klude, toiletpapir, hÃ¥ndklÃ¦der, viskestykker, sÃ¦be, kÃ¸kkenrulle etc. det nytter ikke noget at folk selv kan lave afsluttende rengÃ¸ring nÃ¥r ikke det er redskaber og produkter. Det er dÃ¥rligt at Dancenter ikke sÃ¸rger for det. Der bÃ¸r vÃ¦re et minimum af de mest basale ting! Der var i Ã¸vrigt iskoldt da vi ankom, tÃ¦nker det havde vÃ¦ret imÃ¸dekommende at tÃ¦nde for lidt varme. Dancenter bÃ¸r hjÃ¦lpe udlejer med at sikre de ting der gÃ¸r opholdet ekstra attraktivt og nemt!
