Van binnen zag het chalet er netjes en schoon uit. Voor twee personen is er genoeg ruimte. Het uitzicht naar alle kanten is prachtig. Je zit aan het eind van een dal. Het is er wel heel stil, het enige wat je hoort is het ruisen van de rivier op de achtergrond. Vanuit het chalet kun je gelijk bergwandelingen starten waaronder de Mallnock- Alpine route. Vanuit het chalet ga je de weg verder omhoog. Toen het weer wat mooier werd kwamen er regelmatig wandelaars langs. Ook is het mogelijk om af te dalen en een rondwandeling door het dal te doen waarna je alsnog omhoog kunt. Voor bergwandelaars is dit chalet een echte aanrader.
