Description

Welcome to your cozy home-away-from-home at Resort De Rijp, a tranquil, water-rich destination just 15 km from the charming cheese town of Alkmaar. This detached, single-storey chalet is the perfect hideaway for couples or small families looking to relax in a picturesque Dutch setting. The warm and inviting living room features a TV and gas heater, while the open-plan kitchen comes fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and coffee maker—everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bring your furry friend along—this chalet is pet-friendly and surrounded by dog-loving nature spots. Just a short drive away, you’ll find Twiske-Waterland, a vast green space where dogs can run leash-free and splash in open waters. Prefer a sandy stroll? Egmond aan Zee welcomes leashed pets year-round, with special off-leash hours in the evenings. After your adventure, return to your private garden and relax on the furnished terrace while your pet lounges nearby. From historic windmills to wooden bridges, the nearby villages of De Rijp and Schermerhorn offer postcard-perfect scenes and authentic Dutch charm.

For dining, enjoy classic pancakes, seafood, or hearty stews at cozy bistros by the canals. And don’t miss the cheese market in Alkmaar—great for sampling and snapping photos. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, this chalet is the ideal base for you and your four-legged companion.
