Holiday home

Description

Discover comfort and connection in this modern villa nestled in Leons, the tranquil heart of Friesland. Newly built in 2023, this spacious holiday home accommodates up to 10 guests across multiple floors with en suite bedrooms and a luxurious central bathroom with a bathtub. Ideal for families or friend groups, the home features a sleek kitchen, sunny garden terrace, and even a panna cage and air cushion for kids to play. Need more space? Book the neighboring villa (code NL-8833-15) for a combined 20-person stay with a charming connecting layout. Step outside into a wonderland of water and nature. Bring your pup and enjoy long walks along quiet dikes or explore pet-welcoming nature reserves like De Alde Feanen. Rent a sloop or e-bike onsite and cruise through Friesland's waterways or cycling trails. Many cafés and outdoor terraces in nearby towns such as Franeker and Sneek happily welcome dogs.

In summer, join local "hondenwandelingen" (dog walks) or dog-friendly events held in Leeuwarden’s parks just 12 km away. Savor the flavors of Friesland with nearby restaurants in Baard (1.5 km), Weidum, and Leeuwarden, where fresh local dishes and Dutch classics await. Don’t miss tasting sugar bread, Frisian cookies, or a glass of Beerenburg. After dinner, return home to a sunset drink on the terrace while your pet snoozes by your feet under the stars.

Zeker beter dan eerdere plekken waar ik verbleef. De keuken was goed ingericht en heel praktisch.
