Description

Surrounded by the peace of Drentsche Aa National Park, this stylish ground-floor villa is the perfect hideaway for up to five guests. With underfloor heating and air conditioning, it combines modern comfort with a cozy atmosphere. Inside, you’ll find a bright living room with a comfortable seating area and TV, flowing into an open kitchen that’s thoughtfully equipped with a combi microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and coffee maker. The villa features three bedrooms, two with twin box spring beds and one with a single, plus a sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower. Step outside to enjoy your private garden and furnished patio, a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring. Parking is available right at the villa, including a charging station for your electric car. The park itself is a haven for families and nature lovers. Young guests will enjoy the indoor play area and miniature golf, while those who love the water can swim, dive, or fish in the crystal-clear recreational lake.

Biking and walking trails wind straight into the surrounding forests, fens, and heathlands, where you might spot beavers or rare orchids. And with Groningen and Assen just 15 minutes away, you can easily swap nature’s calm for vibrant city life. Explore historic streets, visit museums like the Drents Museum or the Groninger Museum, or simply relax with a coffee at a sunny terrace. For a truly unique experience, step back in time at the nearby Hunebed Centre and marvel at the largest prehistoric dolmens in the Netherlands. Or, if you’re craving a family adventure, head to TT Circuit Assen to feel the thrill of motorsport. With its quiet location on the edge of the park, modern comforts, and endless opportunities for adventure, this villa is a wonderful base for discovering the very best of Drenthe.
