From here there is an exit to two terraces. The large terrace is partially covered. There is garden furniture and a barbecue here. The Årnäshalvön has a lot to discover both on foot and by bike. Small marinas, nature reserves, bathing coves and cafes and restaurants. Varberg is a summer town with a throng of people, restaurants, cafés and dance halls, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Take a tour down into the bastions and casemates, accompanied from the 13th century to our own time. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Bring your swimwear because there are nice beaches on Getterön. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Klosterfjordens Gk.
