What do you think of a romantic trip with a horse-drawn carriage, a magnificent walk in a snowy wood or for the adventurous, a snowshoe walk. You can also choose cross-country skiing, (night) sleighing, dog sledging, ice climbing, snow bowling and heli-skiing. In short, enough possibilities to stop you from being bored!

The ski resort of Saas-Grund is very attractive and is guaranteed to have snow. The sunny ski runs here stretch over a total length of 25 km and are mostly red ski runs. The difference with Saas-Fee is the price, Saas-Grund is considerably less expensive than Saas-Fee. This resort is also most suitable for tourist skiers wishing to take a nice skiing trip through the snowy landscape. Cross-country skiers and walkers can enjoy various runs and 15 km of walking paths. Tobogganing is a good tip for a day out. Saas-Grund actually has the largest toboggan track in Wallis, which is 11 km long.
