The winter sports resorts Vars and Risoul have joined La Fôret Blanche Resort. This resort is located in the Southern Alps where several northern slopes, the high altitude, dry air and more than 300 sunny days a year make for perfect winter sports possibilities.

This resort has a total of 180 km of ski runs. Vars is the largest and most known of the two localities. You will mainly find blue and red ski runs here. There is also a very fast ski run here that is also used for the well-known “Ski de Vitesse” competitions.

Fun winter sports activities

Risoul is a more family-friendly resort than Vars. Snowboarders are certainly in the right place in Risoul. Surfland, the largest snowboard park in Europe was built for them. This consists of a lit halfpipe of 100 metres and an enormous 800-meter fun park with the necessary obstacles. For music lovers, events and concerts are regularly organised on the ski runs.
